We receive enquiries about HIFU and other treatments from patients in Japan and from overseas. This page explains how to arrange an English consultation at Art Lounge Clinic, what to tell us before you travel, and what to expect on the day.
For the treatment itself, please read our two guides: HIFU in Tokyo at Art Lounge Clinic, and HIFU + RF in Tokyo with New Doublo.
Key points
- Clinic director Dr. Yoko Nakano offers consultations in English. Please book in advance and ask for an English consultation.
- Before your trip, tell us your travel dates, previous treatments, and main concern.
- You receive an itemised quote in Japanese yen, including tax, before any treatment. Same-day treatment is possible if you tell us when you book.
- After you return home, you can contact us by email or LINE, and the doctor replies in English.
- Payment by cash or credit card. Approximately a five-minute walk from Roppongi-itchome Station.
Can I have my consultation in English?
Yes. Clinic director Dr. Yoko Nakano offers consultations in English. Because she also performs treatments during the day, please book in advance and tell us that you would like an English consultation, so that enough time is set aside. Please confirm her availability for your preferred date when you book.
What should I tell you before my trip?
The more we know in advance, the more useful your consultation will be. Please tell us:
- your travel dates, and how many days you will be in Tokyo
- any previous aesthetic treatments, including the device used and the date, if you know them
- your main concern, and what you would like to keep as it is. For example, a firmer jawline and the fullness of your cheeks can be separate goals, and we plan around both
- any medical conditions, medications, or allergies
Will I receive a quote before treatment?
Yes. After the consultation, we give you an itemised quote in Japanese yen, including tax, before any treatment. English-speaking patients pay the same prices as Japanese-speaking patients. If an interpreter is required, a separate price list applies.
Can treatment be done on the same day as the consultation?
Yes. If you would like to have treatment on the same day, please tell us when you book, so that time is set aside. Treatment goes ahead only if the doctor confirms that it is appropriate for you. Please leave room in your schedule for the doctor to recommend a different approach, or no treatment. Results of HIFU develop gradually over weeks and months, so there is no need to stay in Tokyo to see the result.
What happens after I return home?
We explain the expected course and the signs that need attention before you leave the clinic. If you have a question after returning home, please contact us by email or through the clinic’s LINE account, and the doctor will reply in English.
How do I pay?
Payment is by cash or credit card. QR code payments and transit IC cards are not accepted.
